Bough is a small-scale inner-city flower growing and supply project in Leeds. This project is exploring how productive and commercially viable cut flowers can be cultivated within compact urban spaces.

We aim to demonstrate an initiative that is committed to sustainable, locally rooted business. Our goal is to establish a florist built around hyper-seasonal city-grown blooms.

We are currently supplying independent cafés and shops with fresh, characterful arrangements that showcase the natural rhythm of the seasons.

Bough has a background in art, design and horticulture, this combination sits at the heart of our practice, shaping a thoughtful, contemporary approach to floristry where creativity and plant knowledge come together.

Our work is design-led. Each bouquet is created with an artist’s eye for colour, form and texture and is balanced with a horticulturist’s understanding of seasonality and the natural character of flowers. Rather than following trends, we create bespoke arrangements that feel considered and quietly distinctive.

Inspired by our local surroundings and the changing seasons, we source quality blooms and foliage to create pieces that feel both modern and rooted in nature. Whether it’s a sculptural bouquet, an understated arrangement, or something more abundant and expressive, every design is made to order and tailored to the individual.

We believe flowers should feel personal. Our approach is collaborative and intuitive, allowing space for creativity while responding carefully to your ideas, the occasion and the environment the flowers are destined for.
